This experience offers participants a combination of learning and tasting led by a private chef. Visitors will discover authentic Swiss cuisine and make fresh cheese and artisanal butter. They will taste three regional wines and four traditional Swiss cheeses, including both well-known and lesser-known varieties from small family-run cheese dairies. The workshop is designed for medium-sized groups and offers a personalized and exclusive experience with individual attention throughout the entire duration.

Introduction (10 min.)

  • Introduction to the head chef and the history of Swiss products.
  • Description of the cheeses and wines to be tasted.
  • A brief introduction to traditional cheese- and butter-making techniques.

Hands-on workshop (50 min.)

  • Making cream cheese: Each participant will make their own cheese to take home.
  • Making artisanal butter: Participants will make butter using traditional Swiss methods.
  • The chef guides you through each step and shares interesting facts about the local culture and cuisine.

Guided Cheese and Wine Tasting (50 min.)
Cheeses to be tasted (4):

  • Gruyère with dried fruit and seasonal fruit.
  • Goat cheese from the Odermac family cheese farm.
  • Baked Vacherin Mont d’Or, served with Swiss-style baby potatoes and artisanal bread.
  • Bellper cheese, the “Swiss truffle,” grated over chocolate mousse to bring together two traditional ingredients: chocolate and cheese.

Local wines (3): selected by the chef to pair perfectly with each cheese.

Extras included

Homemade bread, dried fruit, and seasonal fruit.

Each participant will receive some cream cheese and homemade butter as a memento of the experience.
